David is a seasoned Real Estate executive with a distinguished career spanning North America, the Middle East, and Asia.  David established himself in the shopping center industry in North America in positions with Simon Property Group, Brookfield, GGP (General Growth Properties), RioCan, and Urban Retail Properties.  During his years in the US, David’s comprehensive track record spans across all facets of commercial real estate, including asset management, leasing, development and finance.  

In 2018, David relocated to Dubai.  During his years there, David has held Director-level roles at Nakheel and Apparel Group, further deepening his expertise in the region’s dynamic retail, food and beverage and real estate landscape.  While at Al Futtaim as a Director of Asset Management, he oversaw real estate functions for a portfolio of assets throughout the GCC.  

TORG was engaged to create an outlet center platform company for Al Futtaim in the GCC and Malaysia and David was introduced to the company.  

David provides TORG with valuable insight into the vibrant real estate industry in the Middle East and serves as a representative of the company throughout that portion of the globe.  He frequently speaks at regional retail and real estate conferences and serves in leadership roles on industry panels.
