All of us at TORG and TORG International are deeply saddened by the heartbreaking crisis in Ukraine.  The humanitarian crisis is increasing on a daily basis, as over two million refugees have now fled their war-torn country amid devastating attacks by Russia and Belarus.  The destruction being wrought is nearly unimaginable.  Our hearts and mind are with the Ukrainian people in their fight for peace, freedom and their very survival.  Given the urgency of the situation, we are making donation to organizations working to provide immediate aid to Ukrainian families.  See below for links to aid groups that we are supporting.

CARE (www.care.org) For over 75 years CARE has led the way to a better life for millions of vulnerable people around the world.  This international charity, based in Atlanta, Georgia, has set up a Ukraine Crisis Fund to reach over 4 million with immediate aid and recovery, food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support and cash assistance – prioritizing women, girls, families and the elderly.

International Committee of the Red Cross (www.icrc.org) provides assistance for victims of armed conflicts and has been working in Ukraine since 2014 to supply emergency assistance and support hospitals with medical equipment.

World Central Kitchen (www.wck.org) Founded in 2010 by Chef Jose Andres, World Central Kitchen (WCK) uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies in times of crisis and beyond.  WCK is serving thousands of fresh meals to Ukrainian families fleeing home as well as those who remain in the country.

As these tragic events unfold and the future is so uncertain for so many, we are holding the Ukrainian people in our hearts.
