Celebration Pointe Beam Signing Event Commemorates Construction Progress at Gaineville’s First Bass Pro Shops Store and New Headquarters for Info Tech

April 14, 2016 – Celebration Pointe today commemorated the construction progress for an 80,000 square foot Bass Pro Shops and a 60,000 square foot new headquarters for Info Tech.  More than 100 people including City of Gainesville officials, community leaders and business partners joined Celebration Pointe for a “Beam Signing” event for this commemoration.

Celebration Pointe is Florida’s most dynamic, new, mixed-use development located on nearly one mile of frontage along 1-75 in Gainesville, Florida.  When complete, Celebration Pointe will feature 900,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, office and residential – including 200,000 square feet of outlets, a Regal Cinemas 10-screen luxury theatre and a 137-room Hotel Indigo and meeting center.

Bass Pro Shops is scheduled to open late 2016 and will attract loyal customers throughout the Northern Central Florida market. The company prides itself on inspiring people, especially youth and families, to enjoy and conserve the great outdoors and is excited to now be part of the Gainesville community.

Info Tech, a Gainesville-based consulting and software company, is relocating its headquarters to Celebration Pointe and plans to open its new office building in early 2017.
